In addition to redevelopment process outlined in the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law, there are several other boundary-specific economic development tools that can be used to encourage redevelopment within a community. A municipality can layer designated redevelopment areas with these zones and districts to increase the number of tools and incentives available to a given project.
